Andy McKim has been the TPM Artistic Director since June 2007. He is a nationally renowned director and dramaturge who has worked in theatre for over 30 years. He has spent most of his professional life developing, dramaturging and directing new Canadian plays. Early in his career he worked in PEI, in Halifax at Neptune Theatre, in London (UK), but the bulk of his career has been in Toronto where from 1985 to 2007 he was the Associate Artistic Director at Tarragon Theatre. Andy has directed more than 50 different productions. Nearly all of them were world premieres. Most outstanding amongst them is 2 PIANOS, 4 HANDS . He sat on the Dora Awards Board, the Toronto Theatre Alliance Board (TTA), served as the TTA President, sat on the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) board and served as the PACT President. Andy has taught in a variety of contexts and is serving on the Theatre Department Advisory of both Sheridan and Humber Colleges. He has also received the George Luscombe Award for mentorship.

Régine Cadet joined Theatre Passe Muraille as General Manager in January of 2014. She comes to TPM after twelve years with MAI (Montréal, Arts Interculturels), where she held the position of artistic and executive director for seven years. Under Cadet’s direction, MAI has become a Québec leader for the development of intercultural and culturally specific work by performance and visual artists. Régine has been an integral member of the arts community in Montréal, deeply involved in supporting and mentoring diasporic and emerging artists through her work at MAI, Culture Montréal and ResArtE (Réseau des artistes pour l’équité). She has collaborated with several theatre companies in Montreal such as Teesri Duniya Theatre, Black Theatre Workshop and Scapegoat Carnivale Theatre. Régine has served on juries and committees for local, provincial and national arts councils, and was a member of various advisory committees for the Montréal Arts Council. Originally from Haiti, Régine is also the founder of the dance company, EKSPRESYON, which brought together elements of traditional dance, modern and jazz dance and with which she worked as artistic director, dancer and choreographer. Régine was included in Pierre Maraval’s Mille Femmes project to recognize exceptional women from Québec and received the 2008 MERITAS prize awarded by the Haitian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce to men and women who have made a mark in the business sector.

Jivesh Parasram is an Indo-Caribbean multi-disciplinary artists, facilitator, administrator, and researcher originally hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Well… Dartmouth. He is a founding member and the Artistic Producer of Pandemic Theatre, a Toronto-based socio-political theatre collective; a core member of The Wrecking Ball; and a member of the Ad Hoc Assembly (artists driving holistic change). Jiv has collaborated with a wide array of theatre companies including Cahoots Theatre Company, New Harlem Productions, fu-GEN Asian Canadian Theatre Company, Native Earth Performing Arts, NeWorld Theatre, Factory Theatre, The Theatre Centre, Bad New Days Performing Arts, FixtPoint, Suitcase-in-point, ZOU Theatre, Ahuri, the redlight district, Theatre-Smith Gilmore, and WhyNot Theatre. He currently serves as a member of the Toronto Arts Council Theatre Committee. Jiv holds an H.B.A in Theatre and International Relations from the University of Toronto, and studied at a graduate level in Communications & Cultural Studies at both Ryerson and York Universities.

Jason comes to Theatre Passe Muraille having production managed the Fringe Festival of Toronto for two years, and the Next Stage Theatre Festival since its inception in January of 2008. In addition to production management, he also is the Associate LX designer for Warhorse (Canadian production,) and 2 Pianos 4 Hands, and has toured with Ballet Jorgen Canada, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, and Stars on Ice.

Jenn Sartor is a Toronto based Producer and Theatre Artist. Jenn started at TPM as a Patron Services Associate and Volunteer Coordinator, then became the Associate Producer of Patron Services and is now TPM’s Producer. Jenn has been lucky enough to work with some amazing artists as they work at TPM and she hopes to continue to learn and grow in her role as TPM’s Producer. TPM is Jenn’s second home and she is thrilled to be working with such an amazing team.

Petra Chevrier has worked as an administrator/financial manager in the arts and culture sector since 1992, when she began working for an arts service organization in Toronto. She was the Managing Editor of FUSE Magazine from 1995 to 1999, and subsequently worked as Senior Project Manager at Bruce Mau Design, and as the Executive Director of the Images Festival (an annual Toronto film and video festival devoted to independent and experimental film) from 2003 to 2005. Currently, besides working as Financial Manager at Theatre Passe Muraille, she maintains a connection with the film world, working with artists on special projects as film projector and installation technician.

Graham Isador is the a freelance writer and producer based out of Toronto. He is the artistic director or Pressgang Theatre. Isador is a contributing writer for VICE Magazine and The Hard Times. His latest play Situational Anarchy, chronicling his one sided relationship with Against Me front woman Laura Jane Grace, was awarded runner up for outstanding production at the 2016 Summerworks Festival.

Chantel Martin is primarily a theatre director and producer, however her wide-ranging management and artistic experiences provide her with a diverse range of skillsets and perspectives, which inform her multifaceted approach to creation. She is a graduate of the drama program at Queen’s University, where she gained extensive experience in many facets of theater. More recently, she launched her own theatre company, commonplacetheatre in early 2015. She cannot wait to welcome audiences in to explore the bold, creative work presented at Theatre Passe Muraille.

With over twenty years of experience as an actor, music theatre performer, director, and producer, and over fifteen years of experience in development and administration with various charities, Lada is thrilled to finally have the opportunity to marry the skills she has gleaned at her “day jobs” with her passion for the theatre. Lada is an active member of the Ukrainian Canadian community in Toronto, and is often found doing public readings, and hosting or emceeing events in both Ukrainian and English. She is honoured to be a part of the TPM family and is looking forward to getting to know all of our wonderful supporters! Lada is a proud graduate of the University of Windsor, from which she holds an Honours BFA in Music Theatre. She is married to composer, theatre creator, and music director Kieren MacMillan, with whom she has two beautiful children.

Originally from Ottawa, David has been involved in theatre since the early 1990s, originally as an actor and then later as a techncian. In the early 2000s, he moved to Toronto to study acting at Ryerson University. He ended up studying in both the acting program and the technical theatre program, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre. David has worked on a large number of productions across Toronto, largely as a technican. He is also the founder and General Manager of the Toronto Theatre Database (www.ttdb.ca), a website that chronicles all the theatrical productions ever done in Toronto. In David’s former life, before theatre, he was a competitive flatwater kayaker, who won a number of medals at the national level.

Christopher Ross is a Toronto-based House Technician, Technical Director and Production Manager.
